SDAT Infrastructure Facilities

Sporting infrastructure is an essential requirement for developing and shaping talent. Access to world class infrastructure to budding talents is a sine qua non for improving achievement at the national and international level. Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu has the credit of putting up some of the best sporting infrastructure in the country for the SAF Games in 1995, such as the Multipurpose Indoor stadium, Mayor Radhakrishnan hockey Stadium, Nungambakkam Tennis stadium and the Velachery Acquatic Complex. Besides the iconic Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium was built in the year 1993 in a record time of 234 days. These facilities are today widely used and have been very helpful to the professional sportspersons in achieving laurels at various levels.
